The 123-feet Lord Shiva statue in Jaipur Town, Odisha is the tallest Shiva statue in the state. It was inaugurated in January 2023 by the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik. The statue is located in the Jajpur Beach area and is made of white granite. It depicts Lord Shiva in the sitting posture, with his right hand in the Abhaya Mudra (gesture of protection) and his left hand in the Chin Mudra (gesture of meditation).
The statue is surrounded by a garden and a water body. It is a popular tourist destination and a place of worship for many Hindus. The construction of the statue was funded by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) and the Jajpur Beach Development Authority (JBDA).
